Steps to Enroll

Here’s everything you need to get your child enrolled in Delta Elementary Charter School or Lighthouse Charter School.

  1. Check your child’s eligibility.

    For any given school year, children entering transitional kindergarten (TK) must have their fourth birthday by Sept. 1. Children entering kindergarten must have their fifth birthday by Sept. 1.  

  2. Fill out our pre-enrollment request form. Delta Elementary Pre-Enrollment Form or Lighthouse Pre-Enrollment Form

    We begin accepting pre-enrollment forms at the end of October for the following school year. After the pre-enrollment form is received, one of our team members will reach out to you with more information and to answer any questions you may have.

  3. Wait for the lottery and confirmation of acceptance.

    A lottery takes place every January. After the lottery, you will be notified as to whether your child received a spot at your desired campus. Students who do not receive a spot or pre-enroll after the lottery will be placed on a waitlist. If spots remain, acceptances will take place on a rolling basis.

  4. Provide required documents.

    Once you receive word that your child has been accepted, you will receive a link by email to enter the student’s information on the Aeries platform. At that time you will upload the required documents: 

  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Copy of immunization records – See list of required immunizations here.
  • Proof of physical exam (TK and kindergarten only) – Have your doctor fill out this form.
  • Proof of dental exam (TK and kindergarten only) – Have your dentist fill out this form.
  • Copy of utility bill for proof of address – Can be electric bill, phone bill, or similar. Not required if a sibling is currently attending the school.
